This is because it offers certain benefits that are not available in a remote installation. For example, while it requires a high initial investment, the cost is cheaper in the long run. Also, third-party access to company data is minimal. This complete control over data security is especially useful for companies with sensitive customer information. In addition, internet connectivity is not required for user access, which means that the on-premises solution is not affected by slow internet connections.
